Maegan Renee Sanders departed from this world on July 6, 2025 at the age of 43. after a long, courageous battle with stage 4 Glioblastoma (brain cancer).

Maegan was born to Wayne & Mary (Page) Sanders on May 23rd, 1982 in Springfield, Missouri. She was proceeded in death by her father Wayne & both sets of grandparents. She is survived by her mother, Mary of Springfield, MO; two sisters Kayla Sanders of Springfield, MO, and Tasha and Asher Flynn of Cumberland Gap, TN.and a host of family & friends who will miss her dearly.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at Greenlawn Funeral Home South. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at Greenlawn Funeral Home South.

In lieu of flowers of the family asks that donations be made to team MO-KAN, 626 NE Clubhouse Drive, Lee’s Summit, MO 64086 in memory of Maegan Renee Sanders.

I want to express my deepest sympathies to Maegan’s family. I was a classmate of Maegan’s, beginning in kindergarten at Horace Mann. She was always very kind and friendly. I was so saddened to see the news she had been dealing with such a horrible disease and had passed.
