Coach Ramsey was one of the coaches I was privileged to play for in Monett. He not only taught us football, he taught us about life. I know he had an indelible impact on many lives. What a great legacy. Rest in Peace Coach

Coach Ramsey was my coach for Sunday School and Football, he taught the same life lessons and principles, although the tone was sometimes different on the field that in the basement of the Methodist church. The most important life lesson I learned from him and Coach Lawson was the year a few of us Sophomores got to start on a few Friday nights because a few senior classmen made a bad decision. As much as our team needed those Seniors to start, Coach stuck to the discipline at hand and showed us respect by holding everyone accountable and in the end, we were State Champions that year. Coach Ramsey will forever remain our Champion.
