Troy Andrew Coonts “TC”, aged 59, passed away on October 21, 2025, in Bolivar, Missouri, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and hard work. Born on November 17, 1965, in Grand Island, Nebraska. He was a good and loving man, with a great sense of humor, that he found immense joy in the simple moments spent with Wendy Morris.
Troy graduated from high school and dedicated his career as a truck driver in the concrete industry. His unwavering commitment to his work was a testament to his character, reflecting his willingness to support his family and community. His journeys on the open road were not merely a profession, but a way for him to connect with others and share his generous spirit. He loved riding his motorcycles, hunting and fishing, and a collector of guns. He was a true patriot!
In honoring Troy’s life, a Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2025, from 11:00 to 1:00 PM at the De Soto VFW in De Soto, KS, where friends and family will gather to share stories and memories that echo the warmth and laughter, he brought into all their lives. Following this, there will be a serene inurnment at Westlawn Cemetery in Grand Island, NE, at a later date, where he will be laid to rest, next to his mother, in peace, surrounded by nature’s beauty.
Troy was preceded in death by his parents: Ronald Dean and Vicki Rae (Williams) Coonts.
Troy is survived by his hunny bunny Wendy; his children: Sophia, Tori, Alex, Jessi, and Dani; six grandchildren: Novalee, Lola, Valen, Fallon, Sawyer, and Graham; and countless other relatives and friends who cherished him. As we reflect on his life, we remember not only the man he was but the love and happiness he fostered in all who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be missed dearly but will forever remain in our hearts.
