Carolyn Sue Mullin daughter of James Ralph Reed and Mary Dean (Cornett) Reed was born on April 17, 1951 in Springfield, MO and passed away December 9, 2025 at the age of 74.
Carolyn was raised on the family farm in Springfield, Missouri. In her adult years, she moved to Garfield, Arkansas where she met and married, her late husband, Russell Mullin, while both were working as professional truck drivers. She had many cherished memories of their life together living on top of an Arkansas mountain. They enjoyed fishing and taking camping trips together. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking for family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James “Jim” and Mary Dean Reed, her son, James Bonner and her husband, Russell Mullin.
She is survived by her sister, Debbie Wood and husband Jack, her brother Ralph Reed and wife Becki, daughter in law Tracy Bonner, granddaughter Ruby Bonner, niece Justine Flannigan and husband Nick, nephew Trenton Reed, great niece Ryann Flannigan, great nephew Madden Flannigan and her special friend Judy Glaze. She also had a special bond with those she called her “Kiwi Kids.”
A graveside service will be held to commemorate Carolyn’s life on Tuesday December 16, 2025 at 10:00am at Mount Comfort Church Cemetery. We invite all who knew and loved Carolyn to join us in celebrating her remarkable life and the beautiful legacy that she leaves behind.
