It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Susie Marie Pauley, who departed this life on March 2, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on November 14, 1936, to Ira and Mary Harris, in the quaint town of Ozark, Arkansas, Susie lived a long and fulfilling life, bringing joy and warmth to everyone she met.

Susie was preceded in death by her parents: Ira Avy and Mary Bernice (Perry) Harris; her first husband Earl Lockhart, and second husband Robert Haas; and a daughter Marilyn Mincher.

Susie was the beloved mother of Trenton Lockhart (Shelly); three grandchildren: Elaina Daniels (David), Lee Kates, and Patricia Nihells (Makya); and six great grandchildren; a special sister in-law Dorothy Campbell; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends, who will carry forward her spirit with fond memories of love and laughter. She dedicated her working years to the retail industry, notably serving as a cashier at Walmart, where her friendly smile and generous nature made her a cherished member of her community.

A graduate of high school, Susie embraced life with fervor and compassion. Throughout her years, she had a remarkable ability to connect with others, creating bonds that lasted a lifetime. Friends and family will remember her not only for her kindness but also for her infectious laughter and unwavering support.

Funeral services for Susie will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026, at the Pitts Chapel. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. These services will provide an opportunity for those who loved her to come together, share stories, and honor her beautiful legacy. Burial will be held at Reed Cemetery Halfway, MO.
