Tony Ballard, 67 years of age, passed on Thursday, April 17, 2026 at Cox South Medical Center. Tony was born October 16, 1958 in Lilbour, MO to Mose & Ethel Ballard. He was the 13th child of 18 siblings. Tony attended Neelyville High School and was on the traveling track team and played basketball. After graduation he pursued a career as a concrete finisher with Prestress.
Tony loved spending time with his family and working on cars. He spent his down time watching wrestling, westernas & football. His best kept secret was watching The Young and Restless. Tony was known for his quick wit and compassionate spirit to give.
He was preceded in death by his parents Mose & Ethel Ballard, sisters, Barbara Johnson, Thelma Jean Jordan, Catherine Henry, Ernestine McCoy, brothers, James Mitchell, Leroy Mitchell.
Tony is survived by seven sisters and four brothers, Chris Grandberry, Jackie Travis, Tina Sides, Faye Williford, Shirley Clarett, Sharon Young, Glenda Breandon, Sherman Ballard, Joe Ballard, Terry Ballard, and George Mitchell.
