Richard Clark left a message on October 29, 2026:
He was truly my teammate in so many ways and so many sports. In football if he didn’t throw a good pass, I didn’t have anything to catch. In basketball he played point guard I played wing. He got me the ball many times. And baseball he was the catcher and I got to throw to him as a pitcher. He was a friend from the time I started school as a first grader. I missed him big time when he went to West Plains, our senior year. He’s the main reason West Plains beat us in football, his senior year six to nothing. And as you know, we got to go to college together at Missouri State. He wasn’t the quarterback that threw me the ball, but he was the cornerback that turned the wide run back into me as the defensive END my freshman year. He was one of my closest friends in my entire life. He was tough and Smart and he would stick his nose in there as good as any man. I know I don’t have long to live, but I’ll miss Harold for the rest of my life.
Neil Pittman left a message on October 28, 2026:
As a member of the football staff at KHS I was fortunate enough to have worked with Harold. His attention to detail and his passion for the players was on display always. My heartfelt condolences to all his family and friends
