Carla Jean (Miller) Capps 69, Springfield, MO. passed away January 13, 2020 after a long illness. She was born in Springfield, MO. on October 27, 1950 to Carl and Deloris (Westfall) Miller. She was a beautician for 32 years, having various beauty shops in the area. She was a member of the Glad Tidings Assembly Of God Church. In her spare time, she loved country music, line dancing, and country dancing and beach vacations. She could often be found reading a good book. Most of all, she loved her children, her family, and her work in cosmetology.
Carla was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her two sons: Michael Capps and his wife, Tracey, and Ryan Capps and his wife Jenna, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, a sister: Julie Waldo, and three brothers: David Miller, Ernie Miller and Glen Miller.
Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, January 16, 2020, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour before the service, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Memorial contributions may be made in Carla's memory to the Alzheimer's Research Foundation.
