Beverly Sue Beyer 83, Strafford, MO. passed away in her home on January 8, 2020. She was born in Bryan, Ohio, on November 17, 1936, to Ronald and Mildred (Davis) Berry. She was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church. She was retired from the U.S. Forrest Service, retiring in 1994, after 17 years of service. In her spare time, she loved swimming and making stained glass.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Peter Beyer, and two sisters: Peggy Colley and Dolores Ann Shay. She is survived by her daughter, Jessica Sawyer and her husband, Jon, two sons and their wives: Craig and Patty Beyer, and Timothy and Jennifer Beyer, four grandchildren: Jonathon Sawyer, Chris Beyer, Sarah Beyer, and Lily Beyer, and one great-grandchild: Max Beyer, two sisters: Dorothy Dukes and Jill Smith, and three brothers: Terry, Bill, and Dan Smith, as well as nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 18, 2020, at Faith Lutheran Church, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. before services, at the church. No burial is planned. A celebration of life is planned for later this summer, in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
