So sorry for your loss. Mom would have attended the service but has been having health issues. I remember Betty & mom (Gwen) running around together, garage saleing , shopping ,bowling & eating out all over the Olathe area, Lots of fun they had. Good times. I remember visiting your Mom when she lived on Prairie St., Logan St. & Grant st. What a sweet lady she was. With deepest Sympathy. Jeff, Gwen & Angela Holcomb

Debbie jackson left a message on January 2, 2020:
God Looked Around His Garden God looked around his garden And found an empty place He then looked down upon the earth And saw your tired face He put his arms around you And lifted you to rest. God’s garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best. He knew that you were suffering He knew you were in pain He knew that you would never Get well on earth again. He saw the road was getting rough And the hills were hard to climb. So he closed your weary eyelids And said, “Peace be thine”. It broke our hearts to lose you But you didn’t go alone. For part of us went with you The day God called you home

May God bless this family. Know in your hearts that Betty touched many, many lives with so much love and care. She was a saint and influenced my life in the most precious way by praying for me. Every time I saw her, the deep love that I could feel from her is my treasured memory. I feel her prayers and have been richly blessed by knowing this sweet lady. Thank you, Betty, for taking me under your prayer wings so long ago. I love you still.
