Lavon McGinnis left a message on December 13, 2022:
I’m thinking of you, Ruth and and all the family during this time of your loss. I was so sorry to hear about A.R.’s passing. How comforting for you and exciting for him that he’ll be spending Christmas with Jesus, even though you miss him. His kindness is what I remember about him and his love of his Lord and Savior. He was always friendly to me, even when he didn’t know me well. His presence at High Street will be missed, as well as all who knew him. I can see that his kindness and values were part of all the family. When my daughter was in a bad accident, I’ll never forget the kindness and concern that Tammie showed me….and her prayers. May God give you comfort and peace now and in the days ahead. My prayers, Lavon McGinnis

A gentle giant in Gods Ministry. Brenda and I have many fond memories of AR and Ruth. They were ore Sunday School leaders for many years at High Street Baptist Church. AR taught our class and was my visitation partner. Our prayers go out to his family.
