Alan will always be a blessing to me. One memory that stands out was a vacation our family took when I was a teenager. I don't remember details--maybe Sarah was with us for some reason--but Alan and Gina were at our house when we returned. Alan had his hand bandaged and I assumed some crisis had occurred and was ready for the freak-out stage of the story. Alan and Gina just casually explained he was mowing the lawn and had an accident. Rather than freaking out they took it in stride and treated it as just a thing that happened in life. I so appreciate that every time I think of it. It reminds me to go with the flow and be chill. I'm so grateful for Alan and the Turner family. So many hearts and lives are better because of Alan.

Oh Gina, I don't even know what to say. I love you so much. I grieve for you and your family. Alan was the perfect example of a man with a servants heart. You saw it everyday at AGF and I saw it in how he treated you. I admired your relationship with him for years as I yearned for my own. I wish I could be there to hug you in person. If you ever need someone to talk to who knows you and loves you but is a bit removed I am here. Please let me know if I can do anything for you dear friend.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Gina and family, my heart grieves for you and with you. In the confusion of it all, I do find peace knowing Alan is with his Savior. Alan was a joy to work with and so much fun to be around. My observation of him is that he treasured his family. I cannot help to think about the many stories about "the life and times of being married to Alan Turner" and laugh. He will be missed.
