Allan Dean Johnson, 72, passed away in his home in Springfield, Missouri on January 12, 2025. Allan was born on April 15, 1952, to Carl and Dean Johnson in Wichita, Kansas. Allan graduated from Glendale high school in 1970, and furthered his education at Southwest Missouri State University. He retired from Hiland Dairy after 32 years of employment. He also worked at Hope Church, Tuscan Hill, and Highlands Spring golf course. Allan loved serving his Lord and Savior. Allan would help anyone at any time. He always gave 110% whether he felt appreciated or not. Everyone loved Allan’s sense of humor.
Allan was proceeded in death by his father, Carl Johnson, and his brother, Stu Johnson. Allan is survived by his loving wife, Donna Johnson; his mother, Dean Johnson; two daughters, Tammy Watts and her husband, Randy Watts, Chrystal Forbis and her husband Casey Forbis; one son, Brian Sleeth and his wife Dana Sleeth; 14 grandkids and four great grandkids (He loved them all very much!); Denise Johnson, his sister-in-law, and a host of family and friends. A visitation will be held at Greenlawn East in Springfield, Missouri on Friday, January 17, 2025, at 11 am to 1 pm, with the service to follow, starting at 1 pm. Allan’s final resting place will be at Hopedale Cemetery in Ozark, Missouri.
