Alma Crockett Montgomery passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2014. She was born October 9. 1921, she was 92 years of age.
Alma married Edward Montgomery and they lived for many years in Independence, Missouri where she worked and retired from Wilcox Electric Company. Edward passed away in 1999. She had most recently been a resident of the Strafford Senior Care Center in Strafford, Missouri.
In addition to her husband, Alma was preceded in death by seven siblings. She is survived by her sisters, Betty Roark of Springfield, Missouri and Veta Gillenwaters Braun of Florida. She also leaves several nieces, nephews and other friends.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 24, 2014 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will recieve friends from 6-7 p.m., Sunday, in Greenlawn North Funeral Home. Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn North Funeral Home.
