Alyce Marie Rogers, 87, Springfield, MO. passed away Friday, May 18, 2018, after a long illness. She was born on January 20, 1931 in Tarkio, MO. to Hugh G. and Georgia O. (Davis) Inman. She was a florist for most of her life, owning her own shop for years. She was a member of the Galloway Full Gospel Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafting, crocheting and gardening and especially spending time with her family and friends. Alyce was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband: Orville Green, son: Dale Green, daughter: Eva Joann Green, and grandson: Joey Cotter.
Alyce is survived by her husband Jimmie Rogers, her daughter: Ellen Cotter and her husband Don, her step-daughter: Kim Wilson, step-son: Jimmy Rogers Jr. and his wife, Dana, a daughter-in-law: Bobbie Green, a brother: Hugh Inman Jr. and his wife Judy, and a sister, Patricia Kinney, and her husband Glenn. She is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, her Golden Corral and church families, and many friends and loved ones.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2018, in Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Visitation will be Monday evening, May 21, 2018, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2018, in Mount Olive Cemetery, Hamburg, Iowa.
