Amber Lynne (Greninger) Currier, age 48, of Springfield, MO, passed away on May 18, 2025, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She was born on October 1, 1976, in Joplin, Missouri, to Jimmy L. and Leslie J. (Hubbard) Greninger.
Affectionately known as “Gramber” by her only granddaughter, Addy, she was a steady, joyful presence in the lives of those who knew her. She found happiness in life’s simple pleasures—vacations near the beach, hunting for the best bargains, and creating small traditions that became cherished memories. At Christmastime, her homemade holiday treats were a highlight, and at birthday parties, her balloon animals brought delight to kids and adults alike. Though not one to tell jokes, she had a natural way of making others laugh with her warmth and wit. A hardworking and diligent professional, she spent the last 20 years in accounting—14 of them with Missouri Neon and the last six with Pro1, both in Springfield, Missouri. She was deeply respected and genuinely adored by her coworkers, remembered not just for her work ethic, but for the kindness and light she brought into the workplace.
She was met in heaven by her father Jimmy Greninger, Sr., her grandmother, Betty Jo Ball, and aunts Ida Fingar, Rita Hubbard, and Sheryle Mason and uncle Coy Cloninger.
Amber is survived by her husband Charles Christopher Currier, her son Stacy Eveland, her daughter Kelsey Wheeler, granddaughter Adalynn Eveland; as well as her mother Leslie Greninger, brothers and their spouses, Jimmy Greninger, Jr, Kelvis and Leo Greninger, Stacy and Cara Greninger; two nieces, Ella and Emery Greninger; two aunts Janet Cloninger and Robyn Taylor; and two uncles Paul Hubbard and David Greninger; numerous cousins.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Amber with a visitation on Friday, May 30, 2025, from 5:30-7:30pm at Greenlawn Funeral Home, North. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, beginning at 1:00 p.m. also at the funeral home.
Burial immediately follows the service in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
