Andrew Paul Gannon, age 54, of Springfield passed away on Saturday, September 21st at Mercy Hospital. Andy was born July 30, 1970 in Eufaula, Alabama. He graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1988, and attended Missouri State University, participating in the marching band as a trumpet player.
Since a small boy, Andy loved all things cars and motorcycles. He was especially fond of 1955 Chevrolets. He enjoyed many family vacations at the National Street Rod Association events. Andy dearly loved his family and was a loyal friend to many. Andy is survived by his parents, Norm and Karlene Gannon, brother Douglas (Glinnae), sister Amy Mansker (Mike), aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Services for Andrew will be Saturday September 28th, 2024 at 10:00am at Greenlawn Funeral Home North with burial at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation with family present will be 6:00pm-8:00pm Friday evening at Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
