Angela Alice Chance
July 20, 1963 – April 30, 2025
Angela Alice Chance (Campbell), age 61, of Fair Play, Missouri, peacefully left this world and entered the gates of Heaven on April 30, 2025, after a courageous battle with illness. She was born on July 20, 1963, to Orles and Ruby Campbell (Ahart) and remained a lifelong resident of Fair Play.
A proud graduate of Fair Play High School, Angie married the love of her life, Kenneth Harold Chance, on April 10, 1982. Exactly one year later, they welcomed their first son, Jessie Lee Chance, on their wedding anniversary. Their family grew with the birth of Jason Ryan Chance on July 5, 1988, and Justin Earl Chance on May 19, 1990.
Angie is survived by her devoted husband, Kenneth Chance, of the home; her sons, Jessie (Melanie) Chance, Jason Chance, and Justin Chance, all of Fair Play; her brother Randy Campbell (Judy) of Fair Play; her grandchildren: Spencer Chance, Simmona Chance, and Salem Chance; and her great-grandson, Kol Kreft-Lee Chance.
Angie had a deep love for animals and always had beloved cats and dogs in her care. She found joy in baking, cooking, collecting antiques, and tending to her flowers. However, her greatest joy came from being with her family. She cherished her role as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and her love for her family was evident in every part of her life.
To know Angie was to know kindness and compassion. She fought bravely through the challenges of her final years, clinging to her faith in Jesus and often speaking of the peace she found in the promise of reunion with loved ones who passed before her.
A celebration of Angie’s life will be held on Monday, May 12, at 6:00 p.m. at Harvest Assembly. Pastor Lyle will officiate the service.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Angela’s care has been entrusted to Pitts Chapel/Greenlawn Funeral Home of Bolivar MO., www.greenlawnfuneralhome.com
