Anna Catherine Allen at the age of 94, of Ozark, MO, passed away on May 15, 2024, at The Baptist Home in Ozark.  Anna was born on July 8, 1929, in Creighton, MO in Cass County to Cecil and Lillian Elwell.

Anna was active in high school, taking part as a cheerleader and playing the trumpet in band. She was a graduate of the Class of 1947, in Warrensburg, MO., then went on to college afterwards.

She was employed as a church secretary, and college bookstore manager before her retirement. Anna was of the Baptist faith.

On July 8, 1949, she married M. Dale Allen in a country church near Warrensburg, MO. To this union came three children, Rebecca, Pamela and Nancy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and three sisters. Also, by her husband Dale.

Survivors include Rebecca Morales (Paul) of Lee’s Summit, MO, Pamela Sander (Tom) of Tampa, FL, and Nancy Brasfield (Scott) of Franklin, TN.

Anna’s grandchildren are Meagan Jackson (Kyle), Kristin Chapman (Justin), Tiffany Roberts, Andrew Morales (Jesse), Tommy Sander (Marissa) and Rachael Osteen. Great grandchildren are Emma Chapman, Olivia Chapman, Graham Chapman, John Oliver Gilliam, Josephine Jackson, John Jackson, Everett Neely, Thomas Sander, Isabelle Morales, McKenzie Chapman, Grant Sander, Miles Morales, and Davis Sander. Including nieces, nephews, and cousins. Anna’s close friend was Janet Noble, they were known as “Thelma and Louise!”

Services for Anna will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, May 23, 2024, at The Baptist Home in Ozark, MO. Interment will be 1 pm, Friday, May 24, 2024, at St. Charles Memorial Gardens in St. Charles, MO.
