Anna Lee Blood, age 98, of Springfield MO, passed away Friday, January 10, 2025. She was born May 5, 1926, in Springfield MO to Robert and Bertha (Kelly) Shaw. Anna was united in marriage to Bernerd Blood in 1945. They shared 69 wonderful years together before his passing in 2014. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one son Walter (Wally) Blood and brothers Thomas, Walter and Eugene Shaw and sisters, Loral Shaw, Laura Shaw, Mary Blood, and Margaret Hodges.

Anna was a member of Springfield Bible Church. She was a homemaker, loved to sew, knit and crochet and loved having her family and friends visit.

She is survived by her son Alvan C (Ruth) Blood and daughter Mary L Buckmaster. Grandsons David, Steve, and Ron Blood and Rob Buckmaster and granddaughter Julie Witten, eleven great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and friends. Special mention to her caregiver and friend Kay Bennett.

An open viewing will be Wednesday January 15, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 or Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am January 16, 2025, at Greenlawn North with Pastor Curt Zachary officiating. Due to weather, a private burial will be held at White Chapel Memorial Gardens following the service.
