On Friday March 14, 2014, Anna Marie Blackard went home to the Lord whom she faithfully served for 75 years. Anna was born May 8, 1933. She and Rev. Alvin Gaines Blackard, Sr. were married on January 29, 1949.
She is survived by seven children and spouses, fourteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, Gene Wasson her constant loving companion, and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be at North Side Assembly of God Church on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Her celebration service will be at North Side Assembly of God Church, 2310 N. Campbell, Springfield, MO on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at 10:00 a.m.
