Archie H. Buckner, age 93, of Fair Grove, MO passed away on Wednesday March 16th with his family by his side. He worked many years for the Frisco Railroad. Archie loved to go on trail rides plus he raised and broke mules. He traveled to Texas every winter where he and his wife Freda made many friends.
Archie was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 62 years, Freda Mae , and son Paul Thomas Buckner, one brother and three sisters. Survivors include sons and their wives: Charles and Katherine, James and Glenda, Randall and Sally, Kevin and Edie plus daughter-in-law Doris; 14 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; and sisters Mary and Wilma.
Services will be held at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, MO. A visitation will be on Friday March 18th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. The funeral will be at 10:00 am on Saturday March 19th with burial to follow at Bass Chapel Cemetery.
