Arlene May Keltner, beloved educator and cherished mother, passed peacefully from this life on April 2, 2025, at the age of 92. Born on May 8, 1932, in Edwards, MO, to Alfred A. and Bertha F. (Lake) Raymer.  She was united in marriage to Kenneth Keltner on August 29, 1951, and to this union two children were born.

Arlene was saved at a young age and was a member Bolivar First Baptist Church.  She earned her bachelor’s degree from SBU and spent many years in education, impacting the lives of countless students.  She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Arlene was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Kenneth Keltner; and two brothers: Alvi and Bill Raymer.

Arlene is survived by her children: Crystal Henderson (James), and Kenneth D. Keltner (Rebecca); four grandchildren: Monica Henderson-Devore (Robert), Neal Henderson (Morgan), Valerie Hubbard (Ryan), and Wade Keltner (Shannon); 11 great grandchildren; as well as several other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held one hour before services Sunday, April 6, 2025, from 1:00 to 2:00 pm.  Funeral services celebrating Arlene’s life will be held on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Pitts Chapel with Bro. Arlene May Keltner will be dearly missed, but her spirit will live on through the lives she touched and the lessons she imparted.
