Amber Sahagun left a message on October 2, 2019:
There are no words to express the great sorrow I have without my Mother. It literally feels like a part of my heart is gone. She was my best friend and so much more. This woman endured more in her short lifetime than most do their entire life. Her beauty was so deep it shined from within. There isn't a day that goes by she isn't thought of and missed. She was an amazing mentor and role model. I could never thank her enough for all that she has done for myself and my children. I don't know where any of us would be without her. I love you, Mommy.

I was so sorry to what happened to Barbara. She was a very dear person. I have known her going 20+ years. She worked with my mother at Fort Ord. She was there for me when I was forced into a terrible position with my mothers husband at the time. She took me in and gave me a place to live for about a month. She did this without hesitating. She was a wonderful person and she will be missed. Chris Fuizzotti
