Barbara Jean Highfill passed away on June 18, 2011 at her home at the age of 69. She was born on February 3, 1942 in Springfield to the late James and Adeline (Bell) Altic.
Survivors include her loving husband David H. Highfill; children Jeff Highfill and Mark Highfill both of Springfield; grandchildren Christopher Highfill and Ashlee Highfill; great grandson Dayton Highfill; sisters Ruth Bone of TX and Ginger Weeks of OK; mother-in-law Pauline Highfill and numerous other family members, in-laws, and a host of friends.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at 10:00 am at Mt. Comfort Cemetery, Springfield, MO with Brother Don Powell officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara’s name can be made to the SW Humane Society.
