Barbara Lue Taylor passed away peacefully on August 29, 2024, at the age of 86. She was born on June 16, 1938, in Delaplaine, AR, to Isaac Lee and Jessie Delaney (Martin) Eubanks. She was a lifetime member of the Church of God 7th Day Church. Barbara was a dedicated school bus driver for 15 years for the Springfield, MO Public Schools. Barbara loved spending time with her family, cooking, traveling, feeding the birds, planting the flowers, gardening and collecting Blue Glass. Barbara’s caring and friendly nature left an indelible mark on all those she encountered during her time serving the community.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents : Isaac and Jessie (Martin) Eubanks, her husband, James E. Taylor, and her sister, Esther Asher. She is survived by her loving children: daughter; Deborah Lou Hassen and her husband Anthony J. Hassen, her two sons: Timothy James Taylor and his wife Marchelle, and Mark Bradley Taylor, eleven grandchildren: Leia Deak, Lanae Hassen, Lachelle Knopp, James Hassen, Tyler Taylor, Rachelle Pfeifer, Zachary Taylor, Challise Taylor, Adrienne Siddens, Jessica Taylor, Jada Taylor, nine great-grandchildren and one niece, Bonnie Asher. Barbara’s kindness and warmth will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

The funeral service to honor Barbara’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Church of God 7 th day on September 5, 2024, at 10:00 am, burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Missouri Veterans Cemetery.

Barbara Lue Taylor’s legacy of compassion and dedication will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. May she rest in peace.
