Betty Fellers, age 76 of Weaubleau, MO, passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at Colonial Springs Healthcare Facility Buffalo, MO. She was born August 10, 1944, in Weaubleau, MO, to Walter Joseph and Mary Eleanora (Floyd) Barger. She graduated from Weaubleau High School the class of 62’. She was united in marriage to Leon Sherdion Fellers April 9, 1971.
Betty loved to go dancing and bowling and watch and listen to Westerns and western music. She collected a wide variety of ceramic dolls and collectables. She enjoyed following Leon in his racing career and going to all the different local and statewide dirt tracks, and even competed in a few powder-puff derbies. She loved watching NASCAR.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 43 years Leon Sherdion Fellers; and a son Mike LeAn.
Betty is survived by three children: Kim Flores and husband Eddie of Springfield, MO, Kelley LeAn of Wheatland, MO, and Sherri Brittan of Morrisville, MO; 12 grandchildren; five great grandchildren and one on the way; three brothers: Howard Barger and wife Lynne of Bolivar, MO, Harold Barger and wife Patsy and Frank Barger and wife Susan all of Weaubleau, MO; two sisters: Sandra Taylor of Weaubleau, MO, and Donna Pitts and husband Kevin of Bolivar, MO; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, July 2, 2021, at Pitts Chapel with Rev. Jack Daniels officiating. Burial will follow at Robinson Cemetery Weaubleau, MO, on Hwy 54.
