It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Betty Irene Selvidge, who departed this world on December 29, 2025, at the age of 66. Born on September 21, 1959, in Buffalo, MO, Betty brought joy and warmth to everyone fortunate enough to know her. A lifelong resident of Springfield, MO, she was a dedicated family woman who cherished her role as a mother and grandmother, leaving behind a legacy of love that will forever be remembered.
Betty was a proud high school graduate who found her place in the service industry, bringing her bright smile and caring nature to her roles at Domino’s and H&R Block and others, where she excelled in customer service. She effortlessly brightened the days of her coworkers and customers alike, and her kindness was felt by all.
Betty is survived by her loving husband, Randy Selvidge; her sons, Robert, and Timothy Selvidge; daughter-in-law Christina Selvidge; grandchildren Zayne, Mason, and Kenzie Selvidge; and her dear brother, Kenneth Patterson. Her family takes comfort in knowing that her love and spirit will continue to guide them as they navigate life without her.
Betty was preceded in death by: Charles Patterson, Dorothy Patterson, Sherry Johnson
Although Betty will be deeply missed, her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Rest in peace, dear Betty. Thank you for the love, laughter, and countless memories.
