Beverly Ann Lurvey Snider, age 76, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on November 28. She was born to Arthur Lurvey and Mildred (Moore) Lurvey, on February 28, 1944. Beverly Ann Lurvey Snider, age 76, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on November 28. She was born to Arthur Lurvey and Mildred (Moore) Lurvey, on February 28, 1944. Raymond and Beverly Snider were united in marriage, in Harrison, Arkansas, on September 2, 1961. She graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1962 before attending Southwest Missouri State College. She owned and operated the Satellite Motel for 19 years. She took care of her family for the remainder of her life. She attended Grandview Baptist Church as a child and Galloway Baptist Church as an adult.
She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur Lurvey and Mildred (Moore) Lurvey; husband, Raymond Snider; and sister, Mary Bridges. She is survived by her children, Jeffery Snider (wife Patricia) and Daniel Snider (wife Bonnie); 11 grandchildren, Kashandra, Autumn, Samuel, Marissa, Hannah, Daniel, Tyler, Tyreese, Gracie, Canon, and Chad; 3 great-grandchildren, Antonio, Alyvia, and Elijah; sister, Jane Horner; 9 nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
The service will be at Greenlawn Funeral Home North on December 4, 10:00, with the graveside following at the Greenlawn Memorial Garden at 11:30. The visitation will be December 3, 5:00-7:00. The family request that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in the name of Beverly Lurvey Snider, Sickle Cell foundation, and/or to your local church.
