Beverly Sue (Garbee) Harrison, a long-time resident of the Springfield area, died Wednesday the 29th of March at home, surrounded by loved ones.
Born in Springfield, Missouri in 1933 Beverly grew up in Republic, Missouri and married Russell Harrison in 1951. Together they started a family and lived for many years in both Virginia and California. Beverly later returned to Springfield area after her husband’s passing in 1992. Beverly was a devoted Christian and member of the Cornerstone Church for many years.
She is survived by her siblings Barbara, Connie, Karen, Mary and Tom; her children Debra, James, Danny, Diane, and Dana; her grandchildren David, Jeff, Keith, Kristina, Tamara, Jason, Andy, and Drew; and her great-grandchildren Joseph, Khali, Noah, Chandler, Jesse, Kailoa, and Meili, all of whom brought her great joy.
A memorial service will be held at in Springfield at Cornerstone Church chapel on Saturday, April 1st at 11 am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the church. A second memorial service will be later scheduled in Ontario, California where Beverly will be laid to rest with her husband Russell.
