Bill Crow, 91, of Springfield, Missouri formerly of Coffeyville, Kansas and Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away in his home, Sunday, September 12, 2021. Bill was born on October 25, 1929 in Dardanelle, Arkansas to Lenny Harlan and Amy Avo (Gateley) Crow.
Bill was the owner of Bill Crow Volkswagen for 28 years and was in the car business for 72 years. Bill was the smartest, wisest, most honest man you would ever meet. He and Carolyn Elizabeth Brooks were married on August 31, 1956 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and they enjoyed 55 years of marriage before she preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and three sisters.
Bill is survived by two daughters: Cathy Murray (Paul Neary) and Karen Hoggatt; four grandchildren: Covey Murray (Erin), Danny Hoggatt (Tanna), Darin Hoggatt (Lauren) and Jacob Stinson; seven great-grandchildren: David Murray, Caiden Murray, Collin Murray, Iris Hoggatt, Huxley Baker, Miles Hoggatt and Elizabeth Hoggatt.
A truly wise, honest and compassionate man. Bill Crow was the definition of a good man.
