Bill Joe Hollis, 92, Springfield, Mo. passed away November 8, 2018 in Cox Medical Center. Bill was born April 7, 1926, in Elkland, Mo. to John Lester and Dora (Price) Hollis. Bill was a member of the Mount Comfort Church. He had owned and operated his own used auto dealership in Springfield, Mo. for many years.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Roberta, and three brothers. He is survived by: one daughter, Sharon Lee (Hollis) Horton and her husband, Sonny, of Marietta, GA; one son, Stephen Joe Hollis and his wife, Teresa, of Fairfax Station, VA; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, one sister, Virginia (Robert) Wilhite, of Springfield. MO.
Graveside services for Bill will be on Saturday, November, 10, 2018 at 2:00p.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens at 3506 N. National Ave. Springfield, MO 65803.
