Billy Wayne Mahurin, age 66 of Strafford, Missouri passed away peacefully at home on April 8, 2026, while battling lung cancer.
Bill was born on September 19, 1959, in Rogers Arkansas to Jimmy Gene and Wanda Cine Mahurin. Bill attended school in Garfield and Pea Ridge Arkansas. In 2009 Bill moved to Strafford, Mo and began working for Jamerson Door Works, where he retired in August 2025.
He spent his free time with his beloved dog Harley, growing a vegetable garden and giant sunflowers and taking care of his sister’s farm. Bill also enjoyed fishing and any type of woodworking.
Billy was preceded in death by his father, mother, brother Bobby, sister Joyce Patton, brother n law Sam Deckard and his dog Harley.
He is survived by his sisters Jeanne (Ken) Selby of Rogers, Ark, and Debra Deckard of Strafford plus many nieces, nephews, his aunt Fern Musteen of Falls Church, VA and lifelong friend Bill Taylor.
Graveside service will be held at a later date at Ruddick Cemetery in Garfield Arkansas.
