Bob Leavitt 83, Springfield, MO. passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2018, after a short illness. He was born on April 9, 1935, near Bois D' Arc, MO. to Fred and Myrtle (Keithlly) Leavitt. A retired auto mechanic, Bob owned his own garage for 30 years. Bob really enjoyed listening to country music, camping, and spending time with his family.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents and by a daughter Marcy Leavitt. He is survived by his wife Violet, of the home, three sons: Robert Leavitt and his wife Mischel, Larry Leavitt and his wife, Ann, and Harold Fisher and his wife Charlene, five daughters: Carolyn Leavitt, Sheila Ridpath and her husband Frank, Debbie Tracy and her husband Cecil, Diana Kyger, and Lisa Leavitt, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 6, 2018, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with burial to follow, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitattion will be Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
