Bobby Lee Baker II, 46, of Bois D’Arc, Mo., passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2014. Bobby was born May 17, 1968.
He graduated from Republic High School in 1986. He continued his education at “Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School”. He was the owner and chef of Chez Robert Bistro and Malinda’s Tearoom in Nixa, Mo.
He was a Food Consultant for Disney Cruise Lines and The Food Network. His hobbies included a love for traveling and spending time with family. He had a passion for cooking and enjoyed creating culinary dishes for his friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, O.L. and Billye Argo; his paternal grandparents, Velva Jones Lewis, Ollie Baker, and Fred Lewis; He is survived by his father, Bobby Lee Baker, Sr.; his mother, Marilyn Kay Baker; a son, Christopher (& Bailey) Baker; a daughter, Malinda (& Kee) Sims; three grandchildren, Gabriel, Zoey, and Jenna; a sister, Holly (& Rob) Covey; two nieces, Victoria and Noelle Covey.
There will be a visitation on Wednesday, September 3, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home South. There will be a graveside service on Thursday, September 4, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at Mount Comfort Cemetery in Springfield, Mo.
