Bonnie Sue Newlon, age 70, of Springfield, MO, passed away on November 7, 2021. She was born on September 27, 1951, in Springfield, to James and Jessie Faught. She married her love of almost 51 years, Jerry Lee Newlon, on July, 14, 1969. She retired from Willard Public Schools as a kitchen manager. She is preceded in death by her husband Jerry Lee Newlon; mother and father, James and Jessie Faught; and her only son, Jerry Lee “Phud” Newlon II. She is survived by her daughter Rebecca Newlon-Branham; grandchildren, Dani Newlon, Jackson Branham, and Noah Branham; great-grandchildren, Zane and Remi Branham; brothers, Gene Faught (Martha) and Steve Faught (Donna); sisters, Janice Banker (Rick), Vicki Green (Harold), and Patty Faught; nieces and nephews, Summer Keithley, Tabitha Aplolinaris, Betsy Green, Clayton Green, Jana Banker-Carlson, Mark McEvoy, Samantha Banker, Nick and Ryan Faught.
The visitation will be held at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Wednesday, November 10, 5:00-7:00. The service will also be at Greenlawn, Thursday, November 11, 2:00, with the graveside following at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
