Brenda Sue Montgomery, age 70, of Halfway, MO, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2014, at Citizens Memorial Healthcare Facility Bolivar, MO. She was born January 22, 1944, in Madison, SD, to Carl and Ermal (Hacker) Bracy. She was united in marriage to Sgt. Larry Montgomery May 6, 1966, and to this union two sons were born. She was an elegant, classy mother and wife.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years Larry A. Montgomery of the home; two sons: Kenneth Montgomery of Halfway, MO, and Jeffrey Montgomery and his wife Cheryl of Springfield, MO; two grandsons: Calin (Montgomery) Sevadjian of Nixa, MO, Walker Montgomery of Springfield, MO; one brother Marvin Bracy and his wife Lynn of Celina, OH; one sister Carla Bracy of MA; as well as many other relatives and friends.
Memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, June 25, 2014, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Pitts Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to Pitts Chapel Bolivar, MO.
