Brittany Michelle Bergman, 32, of Clever passed away Saturday July 22, 2023. She was born to Scott McDowell and Shari (Porter) Yarbrough on January 19, 1991, in Springfield, MO. Brittany Michelle Bergman, 32, of Clever passed away Saturday July 22, 2023. She was born to Scott McDowell and Shari (Porter) Yarbrough on January 19, 1991, in Springfield, MO. She was raised in Rogersville, Missouri. Brittany united in marriage to her husband Andrew Bergman on May 9, 2015. On September 22, 2020, they welcomed their son, Sawyer Andrew Clanton Bergman.
Brittany loved being a mother to her son Sawyer and loved being Andrew’s wife. She was passionate about her career and played an integral role on the team at Austin Orthodontics in Nixa, MO as a dental assistant. Brittany had a love for classic country music, especially Hank, Willie and Waylon. She really enjoyed her weekends and loved going to concerts and fishing with Andrew. Going to craft shows and DIY projects were high on her list of favorite things to do. Brittany loved to go shopping and loved the color teal.
Brittany’s smile lit up every room she entered, and her kind heart touched the lives of so many. She had an unbreakable spirit. Her strength to fight 5 ½ years with a terminal diagnosis to be the best mother, wife, daughter, and sister was beyond compare. She was loved so deeply by anyone who knew her and her mark on the world will never be forgotten. Brittany is free of pain and is now resting in the arms of Jesus.
She is survived by her husband Andrew Bergman and son, Sawyer of Clever, MO; Father, Scott McDowell and wife Lisa of Sarcoxie, MO; Mother, Shari (Porter) Yarbrough and husband Tony of Rogersville, MO; Sister, Shelby (King) Bogart and husband Austin, nephew Brody of Rogersville, MO; Grandparents, Frank Barnhart of Locus Grove, OK and Judi and Tom Ricci of Arcadia, FL; Great-Grandmother, Mescal West of Popular Bluff, MO; Aunts, Kim (McDowell) Feck and husband Vince of Keller, TX; Ronda Stokes of Springfield, MO; In-laws Kim and Rocky Simmons of Springfield, MO; Cousins, Haley, Matthew, Krissy, Morgan, and Ryan; along with other close family and an abundance of friends.
She was welcomed to heaven by Maternal Grandparents, Bud and Sharon Nichols, and Paternal Grandmother, Sue McDowell.
