Bueford “Bruce” Tucker, age 81, of Springfield, Mo., passed away Sunday, April 10, 2011.
Bueford was in the Air Force 23 years and worked at Harry Cooper Supply for 23 years. Serving in England he met his wife Ann whom he has been married to for 54 years. To this union two children were born, son, Bruce Tucker and wife Katheryne, Oxford, Ala., and daughter, Loretta Blankenship, Seymour, Mo.; three grandchildren, Bruce Blankenship and fiancee Jenny Winkelmann, St. Louis, Mo., Ricky Blankenship and girlfriend, Taylor Gregory, Springfield, Sara Tucker, Birmingham, Ala.; brother, Pete Tucker and wife Betty, Pleasant Hope, Mo.; many relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; special aunt; four sisters; two nephews and a son-in-law.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m., Thursday, April 14, 2011, in Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Burial will follow in Missouri Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2011, from 6 to 8 p.m., in the funeral home.
