We are so sorry for your loss. We have known Byron for a lot of years. He was our insurance agent in the early 70’s and then in later years he married my best friend, Carol. I saw him at the eye Dr’s waiting room a few months ago and he called me after that and we had a good talk. We had gone to Jamaica with him and Carol on their honeymoon. Lol. We almost shared birthdays, mine is the 18th, one day before his. He sent me birthday cards. I didn’t mean for this to be so lengthy . We will not be able to attend Byrons services, my sister passed on the 27th and I have her funeral . Again I am so sorry for your loss. Jim and Emma Myers.

I have known Byron since I was a small boy. Byron used to come to my parents home to collect small payments for life insurance policies that my parents had purchased. In 1985 I reconnected with Byron when I joined the Breakfast Optimist Club of which he was a founding member. We had many great times and shared many events together. Just a few short years ago I learned that Byron and I were related!! I had never known this. Byron's grandmother, Rosetta Cline and my grandmother, Susie Cline were first cousins and descendants of John Cline from Dallas County. Our mothers were second cousins so I guess Byron and I were third cousins. At any rate he was a wonderful man and friend for many years. He will be missed.

So sorry to hear of Byron's passing. I have such fond memories of his music. It was fun to sing with him. It was a real privilege to know his family as the children were growing up; youth group trips, Sunday School Classes and Choirs. Many years we had fun together. You children have each become outstanding Christian Adults. Our love to each of you! Nancy and Allen
