It's hard to take this. Carl is one of my best friends. Over the years, I have lived under his roof, worked along side of him, shared holidays and milestones with him and his family, and he became nothing less than a brother to me. The the last thing he said to me days ago was "Love ya brother, thank you." And a smiley face. Because that's who he was; Even in the face of death, a smile for me. My heart goes out to Jess, Jeremiah and all Carl's family. Carl broke the mold and the world is a little smaller feeling today, without him in it. See you in the other side Brother!
