Carol Jean McCool (Lindholm), age 87, passed away on March 14, 2024. She was born on April 28, 1936 in Iron Mountain, Michigan. She was the daughter of Lloyd and Myrtle (Johnson) Lindholm.

She graduated in 1954 from William Horlick High School, Racine Wisconsin. She attened St. Luke’s Hospital School of Nursing, Racine Wi, graduating in 1957.

Carol married Gail McCool in September 1957. They had lived in Wisconsin and Illinois prior to retiring in 1990. Upon retiring they moved to rural Missouri. They enjoyed gardening, raising cattle and had a few horses.

In 2006 they moved to Sparta, Missouri.

Carol enjoyed sewing, crafts, gardening and singing in church choir. Gail and Carol traveled throughout the United States. Hawaii, and Europe.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, West Plains, Missouri. Transferred to Redeemer Lutheran Church-Nixa upon their move to Sparta.

Survivors include: Sister, Diane (Lindholm) Stroner and Husband Richard. Daughters, Kathy (McCool) Beaty, Husband Thomas. Lori (McCool) Golden and husband Scott. Grandchildren, Alissa (Beaty) Bird and husband Wes, Jeffrey Beaty.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Gail McCool, parents, Lloyd and Myrtle Lindholm, Siblings Dennis Lindholm and Sandrs Reiser.

Funeral Service for Carol will be held on Saturday April 13, at 3 pm, Redeemer Lutheran Church, 911 W. Vernon Street, Nixa, Missouri. Pastor Jarod Koenig will be officiating.

Committal at Springfield Vererans Cemetery took place on March 21, 2024
