Mr. Charles David Bogner, age 67, Springfield, MO passed away on Friday, May 3, 2024, at Mercy Hospital, Springfield, MO. David was born to Charles Bogner and Marilyn (Lynch) Bogner on June 23, 1956 in Springfield, MO. David was a 1974 graduate of Hillcrest High School. David was an avid Nascar fan and a great supporter of his children’s and grandchildren’s sports. He coached his son in football and his daughter in softball. David was a retired truck parts salesperson.

David was preceded in death by his father, Charles Bogner, his grandson: Quinton Bogner, and in-laws: Norma and Lonnie Compton. Charles was united in marriage to Debbie (Compton) Bogner on February 29, 1980, at Northside Christian Church.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Debbie Bogner; his mother Marilyn Bogner, his son, Brett Bogner (Kristen) and his daughter, Beth Mitchell (Dustin), five grandchildren: Haylee Bogner, Emmett Mitchell, Everett Mitchell, Keara Love (Curtis) and Hanna Maples, a great-grandchild: Teagan Love, two sisters: Gail Bogner and Charlynn Bogner, a brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Lonnie and Susie Compton along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour before services from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. before services at the funeral home.
