Charles Leslie Meeker, born on May 5, 1948, peacefully passed away on July 24, 2021 at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Charles was the eldest of twelve children. He lived life fully with a long career in logistics, a forty-year marriage to his loving wife Linda, and raising five children. Charles was affectionately known as Chuck to most people, and he was filled with love for others. He never met a stranger, and this served him well as he traveled extensively throughout the United States, and a handful of international destinations. One of his greatest joys was spending winters in Arizona, fulfilling a lifelong dream after retirement. He developed lasting friendships at every stage of his life.
Charles will be enormously missed by his wife Linda, his children and their spouses, his siblings, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends. He leaves behind the following:

Ten grandsons, two granddaughters, three great-grandsons, and four great-granddaughters.
Numerous cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Roscoe and Rachel Meeker, parents Harold and Betty Meeker, and his brother Brian Meeker.
A service to honor his life will be held at Greenlawn North, 3506 N. National on Saturday, July 31. Visitation: 2:00 – Funeral Service: 3:00
In lieu of flowers, Charles would be elated if you chose to donate to the Salvation Army an organization near and dear to his heart.
