With heavy hearts, we announce the upcoming funeral services and ceremonies to honor the life and legacy of the late Charlie William Owen. Born on October 17, 1939, in Springfield, MO, Charlie passed away on September 20, 2024, in Mount Vernon, MO. He leaves behind cherished memories and a lasting impact on all who knew him.

Charlie dedicated his life to serving others as a counselor in the vocational rehabilitation industry, touching the lives of many with his wisdom and compassion. His commitment to helping those in need will always be remembered and appreciated by those he assisted throughout his career.

He is survived by his loving children, Michael Owen, Chris Owen, and Debbie Mason, as well as his grandchildren, Joshua Owen, Derrick Mason, and Dalton Mason. Charlie’s memory will also be treasured by his son-in-law, David Mason, and his cousin, David Combs.

In honor of Charlie’s life, a Graveside Service will take place at Patterson Cemetery in Springfield on October 1, 2024, at 10:00 am, where he will be laid to rest.

As we come together to mourn the loss of a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, we find solace in the memories we shared with Charlie and the impact he had on our lives. His legacy of kindness and understanding will live on in our hearts forever.

Charlie William Owen will be dearly missed but never forgotten, his spirit living on in the lives he touched and the memories he created. His presence in our lives will always be cherished, and his influence will continue to inspire us in the years to come. May he rest in eternal peace.

Charlie was preceded in death by his wife; Sharon Owen, father; Arnold Owen, mother; Gloria Owen.
