With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Charlotte Rae Hartley, who left this world on October 5, 2025, at the age of 59. Charlotte was born on November 2, 1965, in Denver, Colorado, to William and Doris Rae (Weddle) Hartley, and spent her life embodying kindness, selflessness, and a genuine desire to make the world a better place.
Charlotte dedicated herself to caring for others as a nurse aide at Integrity, where her warmth and compassion touched the lives of many. Her love extended beyond her job; she was actively involved in her community, volunteering her time at her son Brett’s school and contributing to her church. Charlotte’s heart was especially close to the Alpha House Pregnancy Resource Center, where she offered support and compassion to those in need.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents John and Ledema Hartley and maternal grandmother Doris Weddle.
She is survived by her father, William Hartley; her mother, Doris Hartley; her beloved son, Brett Hartley, two cherished grandchildren Finnegan and Arlo Hartley, and two brothers Brian Hartley and Dr. Wes Hartley who will forever carry her spirit of giving and laughter.
Charlotte possessed an incredible ability to find joy even in the most challenging moments, knowing when to take life seriously and when to lift spirits with a smile. Her legacy of love and service will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Rest in peace, dear Charlotte. Your compassion will continue to inspire us all.
