Christopher Layne Holt, 56, Halfway, MO. passed away in his home, on January 7, 2018. He was born on March 6, 1961, in Excelsior Springs, Mo. to William Lowell and Betty Hansine Plummer Holt. He loved life,his family and his work as a construction worker. Christopher was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela, in September, of 2017, he was also preceded by his parents and his step-mother: Alberta Mae Hooper Holt, and a sister Cindy Wills.
Christopher is survived by his daughter Erica Woodmansee and her husband Travis, three sons: Chad Holt and his wife Chelsea, Paul Holt and his wife Lindsay, and Steven Holt, six grandchildren:Riley, Ava, Zoe, Bryden, Conner, and Bristol. He is also survived by his sisters: Connie and Jerry Hoffman, Candie Zirjacks, and his brothers: Lynn and Sharon Holt and Tim and Tina Holt.
Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 12, 2018, in Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. before services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Council for the Blind
