He died on Friday, March 21, 2014 at his home.
He was born on July 22, 1926 in Blackwell, OK the son of Roscoe Lee Wilkey and Edith Fontella Wilkey. He was a retired farmer and veteran of the United States Air Force. He had been a resident of the area for the past three and a half years.
He is survived by his three children: Kathleen Brown and husband Clayton of Branson, MO., Charlotte Gottlob and husband Glenn of Girard, KS., Darren Wilkey and wife Gerri of Durant, OK, a brother, Kenneth Wilkey of Blackwell, OK., ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Eva Fern Wilkey, a son, Lyndal Wilkey and one sister, Lorraine Wilkey.
