Clinton “Clint” Harrison LeGere, born on September 26, 1946, in Hillsdale, Kansas, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2026, leaving behind a legacy shaped by quiet moments of joy and a love for collecting life’s little treasures. He was known for his gentle spirit and kind heart, living his life in Springfield, Missouri, where his home was always filled with candy and the comforting tick-tock of his cherished clocks and watches.
Though Clint never worked in a traditional sense, he embraced life with a unique zeal, finding joy in the thrill of garage sales and thrift stores. These outings were more than just pastimes; they were opportunities for connection and discovery, as he found beauty and value in the forgotten or overlooked.
Clint is survived by his loving siblings: Janice Deckard and husband Jay, Helen Turner, Robert LeGere, and Judy Woods, all of whom remember him fondly for his warmth, humor, and the simple pleasures he cherished.
Clint was preceded in death by: his parents, Andrew and Louise LeGere, and sisters,Jessie LeGere, Josephine Stark, and June Rue
A graveside service will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens on January 5, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Friends and family are invited to gather as they pay their respects and celebrate the life of a man who found joy in collecting moments, laughter, and love. where his memory will continue to tick on in the hearts of those who knew him.
