Clinton Kenneth Ogle, 80, a resident of the Missouri Veterans Home in Mount Vernon, formerly of Alton, Ellington, and St. Louis, MO, was gently lifted by the arms of our Lord and was placed on the wings of his angel to his heavenly home on February 18, 2011.
Clinton was born on January 21, 1931 in Willow Springs, MO. to Kenneth Perry Ogle and Mable Roberts Ogle. Clinton was a mechanical engineer with Bechtel Corporation prior to a traumatic brain injury at work in 1973 at age 42.
Clinton is survived by his wife, Wanda Ruthene Baker Ogle of Springfield; children, Michael Paul Ogle, Kay Ann Baker and husband Robert Muckey, Jean Lynn Skinner and husband Sam Skinner of Norman, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Adam Louis Thomas of Houston, Texas, Rebecca Ann Godi, Melissa Ann Godi, John Joseph Godi, and Gabriel Edward Godi; great-grand daughter, Lillian Grace Godi; sister, Betty Jean Lewis and husband Norman Lewis; brother, Melvin Ogle and wife Martha Ogle; and nine nieces and nephews.
Clinton was a wonderful son, brother, husband, father, uncle, grand-father, great-grandfather and friend. He will be remembered in every breath we take from the smell of morning coffee, the smell of his aftershave, his whisker kisses and many more memories we will forever cherish.
Clinton was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth P. and Mable Ogle and an infant son, Russell Robert Ogle.
